b. Online Snack Table
Online store opens every Sunday and stays open until Thursday at 3pm
Parents can purchase snacks online up to Thursday at 3pm and the
packaged snacks will be delivered to the child’s classroom toward the end of
the school day
If your child is absent from school that Friday, they will receive their snack the
following week Friday
Any parents who would like to volunteer helping package the items can email
the PTO
c. Pi Day
Pi Day did not happen as usually scheduled in the past on March 14. This
was because the school had a few activities happening simultaneously and
the PTO did not want to add more to the parent’s plate
The Pi Day event will likely instead be rescheduled for a date in May
Notices will be sent out to parents once the new date has been confirmed
The PTO will likely need parents to help volunteer to set up the event. A sign-
up sheet will be posted on Bloomz as we get closer
d. Read-a-thon
The school has started their read-a-thon. Flyers were sent home with the
students
This year the company being used for the read-a-thon will allot 15% of the
money raised for the student to spend in their prize shop
You can ask friends, family members, neighbors, etc. to donate
The website will keep track of each child’s reading time and at the end of the
read-a-thon the class with the most reading time will receive a prize
e. Egg Treasure Hunt
PTO will be planning another Egg Hunt this year
This will likely be held in the park across the street from the school, similar to
last year
More information will be sent out to parents once the details have been
finalized
